Esports compensation is rarely one number. A team stipend (plus housing or other guaranteed lines) is money you can plan rent against. Prize share, brand deals, and content can dwarf that stipend in a good year — and shrink hard in a dry one.
This page’s framing is Stipend ≠ stack. The panel still shows a headline annual total, then refuses to treat contingent lines as if they were salary.
That is a different job from tournament prize math (one event) and game-dev budget (studio burn ≠ funding ask). Here we stay on one player’s annual stack under stress.

The unique affordance is contingency stress: Full year (all lines land), Dry year (prize and brand cut 50%), and Stipend floor (contingent → $0). Flip only the stress chip and watch the under-stress total and haircut move while inputs stay fixed.

Scenario C — Franchise slot. Guarantee-led stack: contingent share shrinks. Stress still matters, but rent is easier to plan.
Scenario D — Creator path. Stipend near zero; content and brand dominate. Floor mode is brutal — that is the point of Stipend ≠ stack for non-roster careers. If a deal is locked, reclassify it as other guaranteed.
